What is Love Lannagh?
Glastonbury meets the Wild Atlantic Way when Cruinniú na nÓg lands on Lough Lannagh’s shore with an explosion of creativity, adventure and jig acting on June 15th.
Nestled in the tree clearings, the intimate Grassy stage will showcase an eclectic mix of Mayo’s amazing musical talent. Jazz, Rock, Folk, Soul, Pop or Trad we’ve got three of Mayo’s most loved discerning music promoters curating the stage and they are bringing it!!
Once you’ve limbered up with Noga Yoga at Noon, check into the workshop (should read play shop!) In this wonderland you can try your hand at print making, pottery, lego art, virtual reality, robotics, lego engineering, science experiments and even join a drumming circle.
Little David and Diana Attenborough’s won’t want to miss the bush craft camp, fires will be lit, snacks will be foraged, shelters will be built and biodiversity will be hunted!
Chanel your Charlie Chaplin at circus school and magic camp. Sneak off and lose yourself in a story telling session, find yourself hunting for fairies or test your architecture skills with Branar’s Bricí Spraoí.
Festival goers can kayak, canoe, SUP or even Dragon Boat their way around the lake, without getting wet. Land Lovers are looked after too with adventure games spread across the festival.
When you are worn out having fun, kick back with a 99 at the urban beach while the little festival goers have their faces painted, rummage in Ireland’s biggest dress up box or learn to walk a tight rope. Children with additional needs (and their big people) will love the sensory teepee nestled away from the busy bustle.
We’ve got a few BIG crinniú secrets up our sleeves (yes, more.….really!) but you’ll have to come so we can share them!
Cruinniú at Love Lannagh is a wheelchair accessible event, disabled parking will be designated in Lough Lannagh holiday village and we’ll have a two peddler shuttle (this has to be seen to be believed!) on hand to ferry patrons who are older than young. Anybody with a pink vest will assist you on the day.
