Spaces Between – The Beautiful One
The spaces between the buildings shape our lives, the way we feel about our place. Our aim is to transform every derelict space, unloved wall face and dreary alley way in Castlebar. We want to create a wonderland of colour and creativity that reflect the extraordinary lives of the people who live here.
This project has had an extraordinary reaction from the public, we have an unbelievably talented team of artists and designers volunteering. If you would love to see more of this kind of action we would be extremely grateful for your support.
Love Lannagh Festival
A stellar eclectic live music line-up, a whole ‘raft’ of watersports, bush craft, circus camp, street art’s, music workshop’s, yoga, dance, magic, imagination playground, pottery, print-making, robotics, VR, lego bricx club, story world, fairy trail, urban beach, orienteering, land games and fishing…….just a flavour!
Castlebar Gift Card
A gift card aimed at supporting local business, modelled on the award winning Shop LK (Letterkenny). Every €10 spent in local business
generates a multiplier effect of €25 in the local economy. Clone towns are increasingly viewed as unattractive and un-aspirational, we must strive to protect Castlebar’s unique, diverse retail offering.
Gorgeous Greenway
A comprehensive beautification of the urban stretch of the Castlebar Greenway, St.Geralds – New Town Park.
Choo Choo UPDO
A renovation of the Castlebar Train Station – Painting, planting, weeding and tidying because first impressions really do count.
